The DWC2440 features robust construction you won't find on other CNCs on the market, with solid one inch chrome rods for X motion and 3/4" rods on the Y and Z axes. You can work on projects as large as 40" by 24" and 5" tall. The core structure is made with rigid steel and aluminum components. Ball bearing linear slides and strong timing belts are what gives the unit its smoothness while maintaining accuracy. The table is made of slat wall panels, which allows unlimited clamping locations, and steel tubing ensures straightness.
